Zones & Areas
Each section of the park has its own character and best season.
Seronera Valley
The heart of the Serengeti with the highest density of predators. Leopards in acacias, lions on lookout rocks, hippos in the Seronera River.
Northern Circuit
Fewer visitors, more adventure. The Mara region borders the Masai Mara in Kenya — the promise of the river crossing in July and August.
Western Corridor
The Grumeti River with its gigantic crocodiles waits for the migrating herds. Breathtaking spectacle in May and June.
Southern Serengeti
Ndutu area: the calving grounds of the wildebeest. From January to March, hundreds of thousands of calves are born — and cheetahs, lions and hyenas compete for their share.
